Neymar of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has picked a somewhat divisive Dream XI, excluding former Barcelona teammate Luis Suarez and include five Real Madrid players.
Neymar, who joined PSG from Barcelona for a world-record €222 million transfer fee in 2017, spent four years at the Camp Nou. The Brazilian superstar won two La Liga titles, one Champions League, and three Copas del Reys between 2013 and 2017. The 29-year-old was a key figure in the Blaugrana's world-record-breaking treble-winning season in 2014-15, assisting on 52 goals in all competitions. Despite his contentious sale to PSG, Neymar remains a fan favourite at Barcelona and has been linked with a return to his old club on numerous occasions.
His admiration for Barcelona is well-documented, but the Brazilian captain infuriated some of the club's followers when he left off former teammate Luis Suarez from his Dream XI. Neymar chose five Real Madrid players, four Barcelona stars, and two PSG teammates when asked to nominate his all-star XI for 2019. Seven of Neymar's starting XI were Brazilians.

Clearly, there are some noteworthy absences, none more so than Luis Suarez, Neymar's former clubmate. The two superstars, along with Lionel Messi, formed "MSN," one of the most frightening trios in football history, tearing defences apart at will. Unfortunately for Suarez, PSG's No.10 chose a 4-4-2 system for his Ultimate XI, which cost him his spot. Cristiano Ronaldo, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner and Real Madrid's all-time leading scorer, was also left out, while his replacement Vinicius Junior made the cut.
